Canada SUPER VISA (Parents or Grandparents)
UPER VISA (Parents or Grandparents) – The Super Visa is a Multi-Entry Visa for Foreign Nationals that are parents or grandparents of children who are either Permanent Residents or Citizens of Canada. The Super Visa is valid for 10 years maximum, with each stay up to 2 years. A Principal Applicant (Foreign National) must have an eligible Sponsor, and not be inadmissible. An Applicant can include Common Law spouses and qualified Dependents. The Super Visa is regulated and capped annually by the Minister of Immigration, successful applicants are chosen randomly by a ‘Randomized Selection Intake Management’ system. An eligible Sponsor in Canada must submit an ‘Interest to Sponsor’ within 30 days of the programs annual opening.
Canada Entrepreneur
A candidate first submits a registration to the Base Category Program. Within the registration, a pre-application is filled, which includes a business concept. If you are selected from the pool of registrants, your points may qualify you to be selected for a specific Entrepreneur Provincial Program. If nominated by a Province, you can add 600 valuable points to add to your Express Entry. Each program under the Base Categories are unique, and have timelines and steps to follow.
Canada Self-Employed
To be eligible for the self-employed program an applicant must be prepared to meet the definition of self-employed according to IRPR. If you are prepared to meet high expectations in a ‘specific economic activity’, and have ‘relevant experience’, and can provide a business that makes a ‘significant contribution’, then maybe self-employed is for you. For those who are passionate about cultural activities or have a significant relationship to athletics (coach, world class athlete), Although most self-employed are assumed to be world class individuals, it is possible to convince an Immigration Officer that even a smaller scale business may be interpreted as a ‘Significant Contribution’ example (dance instructor in a small town).
Canada Temporary Foreign Worker Program (Restricted Work Permits)
If a foreign national does not have an open work permit, they may qualify for a restricted work permit. To work in Canada under the TFWP, FN must work for a qualified Employer that has demonstrated they have done all they can to first hire Canadian Citizens or Permanent Resident. A successful Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) allows employers to enter into a contract with ESDC and the foreign national for employment. TFWP are placed into two main programs, low wage stream and High wage stream. Most Low wage employment is temporary and rarely fit into Permanent Residence Programs, most High streams have options!

Canada Immigration-Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot
Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot – The Rural Northern Pilot is designed to attract and retain foreign workers in smaller northern communities. For those who wish to reside and work outside the city, this Pilot program provides contacts to participating communities who request specific skills. Basic eligibility comes from IRCC and specific skills are requested by each community. Unlike Occupations in Demand, or Express Entry, the Northern Pilot provides PR opportunity for previous work experience in for skill level C, and D, without post graduate education.
